This is so sweet!

I had a few dedicated readers a while ago but I've lost touch with them since I left the fandom I met them in, but every now and then I check their old comments on my works for that fandom and it makes me smile.

Even seeing people subscribing to my works makes me happy. I think having a little circle of readers is much better than a big crowd of fans. It feels much more personal.

That’s awesome, OP! I’m in a similar boat and my readers mean so much to me. I always reread their comments when I’m stuck and it gives me the extra boost to keep going.
