There's been a weird trend in my primary fandom where, like... one of the two most traditionally masc 'strong guy in the ensemble' characters is babygirl. It will become his sole character trait. It's not just that like... going out in a miniskirt is out of character, it's also a thing that could get him literally murdered in the canon setting. And I'm all for fucking with gender presentation and stereotypes, like I am ALWAYS down for 'muscular, hairy, manly dude enjoys lip gloss and lingerie for funsies sometime', or 'the scariest guy you know wants to be a housewife/mom'*, which I THOUGHT was what I was getting.

No. No mention is made of his muscle mass, his glorious body hair, or anything about his personality or history whatsoever. He is only babygirl.


*'the scariest guy you know wants to be a housewife/mom' is apparently REALLY my thing, because that's one of the [handshake emoji] points between my last and current hyperfixation...
