Vinyl people who are WAY too pretentious about their setups. Like, do I not get the appeal of first pressing snobs, grading geeks, and people who'll shoot you for not using inner bags? Yes. Do I find people who say you might as well throw away your records if you dare not use a $500 diamond needle EXTREMELY annoying and pretentious? Oh, definitely. Like, I have a pretty ok setup, but it cost less than $700 and that's with a speaker upgrade that I got, like, 2 years after getting the turntable and amp I use. For some people, my setup is trash and I might as well be listening to Limewire-era CD rips while taking sandpaper to my records for the audio quality I get.
