I can attempt to explain the minecraft people!

Minecraft Youtubers, or MCYT, spans a range of content and creators, some of which even overlap. On servers with titles like Hermitcraft, Dream SMP, Empires SMP, 3rd Life, etc, groups of content-creators/Minecraft-players play together, in whatever style they prefer (SMP stands for Survival Multiplayer, "survival" being the gamemode where you gather materials and can lose your items, as opposed to creative). Sometimes they focus on building things, sometimes it's overcoming challenges and contests together, sometimes it's lots of role-playing, and sometimes it's a combination!

Dream/DreamWasTaken and Tommy/TommyInnit are both players from the Dream SMP. Also featured in secret #4 are players WilburSoot (also from the Dream SMP), Cubfan135, GoodTimesWithScar, Grian, and PearlescentMoon (all from Hermitcraft). Their roleplay, humor, and general play style is what contibutes to their respective fandoms and fuels fic, art, and general creativity.

Meanwhile, I can't for the life of me understand Genshin Impact. It's a gacha game, but has a plot? Is that right?

Maybe I can explain the Genshin Impact one.

It's more an RPG but it happens to have a gacha system for pulling characters. So, you're going around town, and the wild, looking at pretty landscapes, building your home, cooking, doing quests and all that generic JRPG stuff, except you don't recruit characters by talking to them or doing some sort of quest (...usually. A few characters ARE recruited that way, though) rather you recruit them by pulling on gacha banners, and these banners change every few weeks. So if you liked a character while playing the game you may have to wait for their banner to pull for them. Also, you get new story chapters and quests with every update, unlike a regular JRPG in that sense, more like an MMO I guess. If you've ever played an MMORPG I would say Genshin is a mix of that (since there ARE a few multiplayer features and an open world, but usually it's just you there. Though you can play with up to 3 friends, most quests allow for multiplayer mode anyway) and JRPG with gacha mechanics on occasion.

Ooo, thank you! That makes a lot more sense!

SA whoops, last one in the secret image is Jimmy/SolidarityGaming, who's in Empires and 3rd Life. Pearl isn't in the image, but is mentioned in the comments.
