Thing of it is, it's impossible to be a Doctor Who fan and not hate some part of the show. There's so many different eras of the show, they can't all be to everyone's taste. And some of them are just plain bad. So there's going to be a lot of fans who dislike any given element of the show, and people are conditioned to keep being fans anyway because there's so much stuff they love.

But people need to be way better about just focusing on those parts and less on the parts they don't love.
