Yeah, mass wankiness is basically baked in to the functionality of tumblr, and I hate it. (This probably goes for Twitter too, I just don't have a Twitter account so IDK.)

There are things about Tumblr I really like, and things I think it's great for. But there is basically no such thing as personal space on Tumblr, and it is a problem.
