I mean, Greek mythology is a mainstay of a lot of western education (or was, I'm in my 40s idk how the kids are doin it these days) so yeah um. a lot of people know about Minos. Not just those down with the minotaurs.

(though a fantasy that goes fully into the minotaur tale with the queen and her bull furry sex costumme would be *awesome*)

The class elements are definitely there. To me, that doesn't preclude it being shippy, but different strokes for different folks.

Knowing about the minotaur does not mean that you know anything about Minoan civilization.

I like Reid, too, but yeah, some people are making such a big to do about the fact that he's not in this reboot thus far and I'm just like, "...you know there's other characters on this team, right?" I totally get having a favorite character, lord knows I've got plenty on my shows that I'm especially happy to see show up and who I miss when they're not there for whatever reason.

But I've also always been the sort who tends to like the entire ensemble cast of a show - even if I have a favorite character, I still have to be interested in the other characters around them, too, to some degree, in order to stick around. So to each their own, of course, but it's just hard for me to relate to the idea of watching a show solely for one person. I could perhaps understand that if a show was centered around a specific character, but in an ensemble show like this, where there is no one "main" character, well...

And if he does happen to return for whatever reason, be it as a surprise guest or as a planned return, that news WILL come out at some point, one way or another. I don't get what the constant, "Okay, but is he going to show up?" questions from some corners of the fandom are supposed to achieve. Trust me, people, if it happens, you'll (general "you'll") know.
