Oh I know I won't survive in any kind of apocalyptic situation. I can barely take care of myself with the resources I have now - so in a desperate situation I think I'd just let a zombie eat me so that I don't have to keep running or worse, deal with other people.

but ffs there is no such thing as a zombie apocalypse. the collapse of society will be real and over war, disaster, and/or climate collapse, not zombies. survival is possible. no one is getting bitten and turned into a monster or ripped apart by said monsters in this reality.

I mean, Greek mythology is a mainstay of a lot of western education (or was, I'm in my 40s idk how the kids are doin it these days) so yeah um. a lot of people know about Minos. Not just those down with the minotaurs.

(though a fantasy that goes fully into the minotaur tale with the queen and her bull furry sex costumme would be *awesome*)

I've heard of the Minoans! They had a fascinating culture, and we still know so little about them. I'd love to have a way to translate Linear A. The actual Minoans don't have all that much to do with the Greek myths, either.

I like Reid, too, but yeah, some people are making such a big to do about the fact that he's not in this reboot thus far and I'm just like, "...you know there's other characters on this team, right?" I totally get having a favorite character, lord knows I've got plenty on my shows that I'm especially happy to see show up and who I miss when they're not there for whatever reason.

But I've also always been the sort who tends to like the entire ensemble cast of a show - even if I have a favorite character, I still have to be interested in the other characters around them, too, to some degree, in order to stick around. So to each their own, of course, but it's just hard for me to relate to the idea of watching a show solely for one person. I could perhaps understand that if a show was centered around a specific character, but in an ensemble show like this, where there is no one "main" character, well...

And if he does happen to return for whatever reason, be it as a surprise guest or as a planned return, that news WILL come out at some point, one way or another. I don't get what the constant, "Okay, but is he going to show up?" questions from some corners of the fandom are supposed to achieve. Trust me, people, if it happens, you'll (general "you'll") know.

Well, based on my experience, you meet at work and bond over how much you hate your job. I’ve made a few friends that way and only one is in the same fandoms I’m in. The others aren’t into any fandoms, so we talk about other stuff.
