I don't think that's entirely fair. It's true that the first one was fundamentally the exact same shit as all the other MCU movies, but it was genuinely one of the better executed versions of that structure, in addition to having a great cast etc.

I liked the first one, but this one bored me to death.

It was a *pretty* film, but man, was it dull, IMO. I think I just miss Chadwick too much.
