Honestly that's an issue with huge shared universes with different creators for each film. Marvel has given a bit more freedom with the Black Panther movies than they have with some of the other ones, but the downside of that is that some of the more unique stuff doesn't end up transfering to other movies.

I don't think this is a shared universe problem? this seems more like a "this universe is made for white perspectives" problem. I wouldn't care if black panther never crossed over, I care that they keep bringing up "white colonizers make things worse for everybody" and resolving it with "yeah" and "this one white cia agent isn't so bad" like the point of superheroes isn't to do something about it.

or maybe ryan coogler saw what they did with the flag smashers and race/class and said "better let this concept hang before they ask me to write bullshit." idk, it's just annoying.
