Damn, I don't watch Dr. Who, but considering some of the other sci-fi weight loss methods I've read (various takes on alien tapeworms, that short story where alien junk food changes humans who eat it so that it's safe for aliens to eat them, more I've forgotten) this sounds charming.

Especially because it sounds like there's no actual giving birth in the hours of pain and straining labor sense.

... wonder how many cute little animate fat blobs I could spawn before I got my BMI down to "holy shit my doctor stopped lecturing me about my weight" levels.
