My unpopular opinion: the entire genre should have collapsed with season 1 of Up and Vanished. The guy butts his nose into the disappearance of a Georgia school teacher and talks about how shady he finds her boyfriend/family/family friends/boyfriend's friends ect. Then, during the recording of the show the actual murderer gets caught and he had *NOTHING* to do with any of the podcaster's speculations. He was not even on the Podcaster's radar. He took credit for getting the murder solved by creating the extra pressure but that 100% could have been done with flyers and a memorial and maybe a documentary and didn't need to involve dragging innocent people through the mud.

Fuck that guy, I'd let his order get cold.
