Well you're braver than I am if you keep watching despite that squick! (I *wanted* to love Doctor Who but the body horror in the first double episode I was made to watch blew clean though squick into outright phobia territory and I had to nope out the entire series.)

Man, especially the Moffat/Twelve series actually had a huge theme of seeing and sight, there were so many eyeball close-ups! I'm sorry, OP, that's a rough combo.
