There is a part of me that wants to see the bizarre saga of Duncan Idaho getting cloned and killed over and over again.

Not Paul. His son, Leto II (who is actually Leto III because Paul's first child was also named Leto, but that kid was killed while he was still an infant.

Also, they already adapted the book where that happens near the end, Children of Dune. Where it would get really weird is God Emperor of Dune where Leto II is full-on worm.

The later books are, to me, so freakin' weird and outlandish and just...down-the-rabbit-hole. Just reading the plots on Wiki has me going 'wtf??'. And it's so many, MANY years, and so much angst and horror....

I just dunno.

While it would be fun to see if they could, I think they'll run out of steam before they could.
