I know I'm feeding a troll, but: actually it is that simple.

Being a victim of abuse does not give one a pass to be horrible to other people, even if those people are also of a marginalized group that said victim's abuser also happens to be a part of, period. Finito. They can be a horrible person to their abuser and that would be understandable, but the moment they start being horrible to someone else just because they share a trait with said abuser they've crossed an asshole line. If you think it's "not that simple" then sorry, you're enabling asshole behavior.
