As a 32-year old currently studying game development (on a course consisting of 18-20 year olds), I feel you, OP. There are some really cool kids but there's obviously a bit of a chasm between our experiences/memories/goals. And anytime someone refers to Bioshock or Halo 3 as "old" and "retro" I shrivel inside a little bit.

If you do ever find any good communities or just want to be old nerds together, give me a shout. :)
