Yes and no

Agreed that some people write OOC characters and woobify their meow meows pretty hard. HOWEVER, as someone who isn't fond of toxic masculinity it's so cathartic to me when Some Dude who's very heroic and "manly" is shown to cry (because you know. People Cry, unless they're terribly mentally ill) and/or finds comfort and solace and strength in loved ones, and if that leads to steamy romance with said people, IDC
