I read a news article where someone likened it to changing Dame Slap from the Faraway Tree to Dame Snap and having her shout at her students instead of hitting them because children today wouldn't understand corporal punishment. I read them before they made those changes, as many other children did, and could understand that things used to be different, and that helped me to understand why some of the adults around me held some of the views about "kids these days...", ect. that they did. Sending the message that kids should be able to understand everything that they read is just weird. I still don't understand everything I read, luckily no one told me that I was supposed to.

If the last few years haven't taught everyone that supermarket workers are doing a vital job, I don't know what can.
