Re: Who was the last character you found yourself relating to (and why)?

Pretty sure it was Eddie Munson-- nothing I've watched since has hit that relatability sweet spot. I mean, mercifully, I was never the target of a witch hunt when I was a D&D-obsessed small town high schooler/young adult, just the average level of bullying you might expect a queer, AuDHD kid whose hobbies included D&D, drama club, and spirited debates about hobbits to be hit with. But I always kind of *expected* one.

Like, Will was somewhat relatable back in s3, sure, awkward small-town gay nerd solidarity and all, but I didn't have the experience of my friends being uninterested in D&D because of girls-- none of them dated girls who didn't also play! And I never had a tragic bowl-cut, I had hair down past my shoulders (and a fucked-up neck from exuberant headbanging), so... you can see how things clicked into place for me once the most dramatic metal nerd graced my screen.
