Pretty pissed at my mother atm. We had a conflict with my deranged brother a little over a month ago where the asshole punched me in the face twice. At first, my mother pretended to be all shocked but by now, she fully blames me (I pushed him away because he threatened me and then he punched me which in her mind means I started it because I touched him first) and is all pouty that I want nothing to do with him anymore.

She was just talking about the plans for the Easter weekend and about how if we go visit my uncle and aunt we can't do anything at home with my brother and was all offended when I told her I wouldn't be here (I live in the same house as them) if they decided to invite him anyway.

Sorry, but I have no intention of playing happy family with the psycho who physically assaulted me. And while yes, I technically touched him first HE was the one who threatened me with violence in the first place so I defended myself and no amount of "but he didn't hit you until you touched him" will make me the villain here. I have a right to defend myself against threats of violence damn it, I'm not waiting until he hits me first.
