My first thought was like, tumors or something? I think they're sometimes called nodules? But I get the feeling the secret is talking about something else, with the "who even gets them anymore" part, because that makes no sense if that's what it means.

If you're talking about vocal chord nodules, sure, people still get them, but usually singers, not actors. Why do you think he has them, OP?

Yeah, I was gonna say, the only time I've ever heard of nodules as a health thing and not just a word meaning small lumps, it's a thing that can happen to singers' vocal cords from strain or overuse or something.

I can guarantee you that he has the absolute finest health care in the world and you don’t need to worry.
And nodules are more common than you think, ask any dermatologist. He’s a little on the younger side for having them but he had at least one back in Teen Movie and some people are just like that.
