Me neither. It was SO bad, and I could tell that Buck was going to be insufferable. I love Angela Bassett, but the writing for her character was really cringe.

I'm pretty sure I didn't, either. I think I kind of skipped around and watched a few eps on streaming and it was just...awful. So awful.

Awww, I'm sad to see the comments like this. :( I don't remember much about the first few episodes, but obviously I liked them enough to keep watching. I feel like it's gone downhill *now*, in season 6, but I loved seasons 3-4 especially and still like the show overall.

Buck I get. What's wrong with Maddie?

I feel like a lot of fans hate her, and I don't get it. The main criticism I see is that she's too emotional/gets upset too easily which I find weird. I don't think that's true, but even if it was, it's not like she doesn't have valid reasons!

Aww, I don't get disliking Buck, either, but then I'm probably the only one who likes Owen, so I might not be the best person to ask lol.

Maddie just seems to need constant reassurance and attention and I have enough trouble finding time to do that for my friends, I don't need a TV character to worry about.
