That's it? That's my husband's height and he seems normal to me, but I'm tall, too.

Hollywood has a lot of petite people.

TBF Michelle Yeoh is basically average height for a woman (about 5'4) and Jamie Lee Curtis is above average height for a woman (about 5'7). It's only Ke Huy Quan who's notably short.

Oh oh oh I love spreading this fact around: the main difference between models and actors is that models have to be tall and it's actually better for actors to be short. Something about framing them in shots.

(A good example of the trouble in framing height variation are any scenes with Donna and Jackie on That 70's Show. Notice that in almost all their scenes talking to each other they're sitting down, and often on stairs with Jackie slightly higher. It's the only way to get them both in the shot at eye level.)

Hollywood doesn't have enough petite people, because I somehow always see people calling average height short.
*grumbles grumbles*. And since somehow being short is a moral failing especially for guys...
