1 ) Slartibartfast, from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

2 ) Hot Rod, from Hasbro's Transformers franchise. The fact that he is also known as Rodimus or Rodimus Prime doesn't improve that situation much.

3 ) Ephalba, from the book and subsequent musical Wicked. This name is almost impossible to spell correctly for most people.

4 ) Slag, also from Hasbro's Transformers franchise. If the name doesn't seem familiar to you, it's because the word slag is pretty rude in Australia. The character in question has had his name changed several times as a direct result.
