Re: What is your current wallpaper/lockscreen/etc?

I don't get personalized lockscreens/wallpaper backgrounds. I get the theory behind it but not the practicality.

Like, great, you have a cute picture of your kid/SO/best friend as your lockscreen. But that great pic is now also always partly obscured by your phone clock, or weather information, or incoming messages, or...

Even worse are backgrounds on your desktop/home screen. Now you have to rearrange all your apps/icons to not plaster over the background, make sure the icons/background don't clash (at least not to the point as to make the icons harder to see), etc.

I once set a fan art I commissioned as background for my laptop (a kickass Sailor Moon/Sailor Starlight fanart that is absolutely amazing /brag) and every time I installed new software or an icon changed after an update I spent up to hours(!) rearranging my whole desktop to make sure the icons were arranged in a way that was aesthetically pleasing, still let the background image pop and also ordered in a way that made thematic sense (aka it would trigger my OCD hard).
