Re: What's the 'smartest' movie you've seen?

There are occasionally great documentaries that somehow capture an unexpected twist. Those are my favorite "smart" movies. ::spoilers::

Like the one about Anthony Weiner on his comeback tour from very publicly cheating on his wife. And then he cheats on her AGAIN and the cameras are STILL rolling and it documents the collapse in real time. ::cheff's kiss::

Or the one about the assassination attempt on Alexei Navalny when they track down one of the guys who arranged it and get him to explain what went wrong. #SCREAMING

As for fiction... I don't know.
