Assuming you're not a troll:

The main thing that bothers me about this is that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are real women. They have a real relationship, and, if I remember correctly, they have a real marriage. They probably have real lesbian sex.

So, let's pretend for a moment that, yes, homosexuality is a sin. Now lets look at something else that we can probably agree really is a sin. Murder, for example. Let's say your secret featured a picture of an infamous murderer, and you said, "I think murder is a sin, but I think this guy and his crime are cool."

Starting to see the hypocrisy?

Now, in terms of fiction, I tend to disagree with the idea that shipping something or enjoying reading about something means you agree with it. I have ships that I really don't think are good.

But I do think that holding different moral standards for celebrities or fictional characters that you like is hypocritical. I'll read some dark stuff, but I will not read stories that I feel justify actions that I feel are wrong.

As for the idea of homosexuality being wrong, though, I have no comment. I have no reason to be ashamed, so I have no need for your approval.
