Under one religion maybe. Laicite and freedom of religion is recognized by many countries now, isn't it? So grow up and recognize that not everyone in the world follows your religion. Therefore, vote not by what is your religion's moral vs. immoral views - which not everyone shares and certainly not everyone's wants to share - but vote by what can be agreed on across religions, including agnostics and atheists, because let's face it, telling people their wrong is no way to gain converts. If you can come up with an argument that sex outside marriage is unhealthy (already tried and disproved) or that condom use will rot a man's dick off (again already tried and disproved), then you might convince a few people. Until then, statements like this will not work to convert anyone to an argument. For me, my morality is based on equality for the purposes of everyone being able to wake up each morning with dignity, and I feel this is best because I have read and debated and picked out what best fits. But this is me. And you are you. In other words, you are welcome to state that "sex outside marriage is immoral," but please recognize that not everyone shares your morality and please provide reasons that recognize the subjectivity of morality.

I was under the impression that several branches of Christianity were being discussed in this thread.
