(Anonymous) 2009-05-31 08:44 am (UTC)(link)Because, in most people's eyes (around here), consensual sex between adults is not seen as in any way morally wrong. So if someone comes a long and basically goes, "No, no, what you're doing is wrong and you should feel ashamed and ask my deity for forgiveness", they might be a little peeved.
Also, this is a place where controversial secrets can be posted. However, this is also a place where people may respond to such secrets.

(Anonymous) 2009-06-01 12:43 am (UTC)(link)No one likes to be told they are sinning, whether they are actually doing it or not. Similarly, no one likes to be called homophobic (or racist or sexist or or or) whether they are actually doing it or not. I just think this is a no-win kind of a thing (and before I get yelled at, I actually do not believe homosexuality is a sin, as I do not believe in sin.)
