No, I know you didn't say that- (your story is cute too btw) I think my general impression of the original secret and the responses, is that I was suprrised to see so many in agreement. I just wanted to add a little bit of a different perspective on the subject! :)

Thanks! I always loved my dad's take on his blind date where he met my mom. He told me how before their date, my mom's sisters had her do some favor and bring a book or something over to one of their houses. When my parents (to be) dropped it by the house, all the sisters just 'happened' to be there somehow to not-so-subtley check out my dad and give him the once over.

Understandably. I'm the same way when girls talk about how they're "uncomfortable" dating younger guys, because my mother is seven years older than my father and I've never seen a happier couple, so I tend to defend my stance on the subject a little, as well. XD

Haha, yeah, I know how that feels. I'm an only child, but I get the embarrassing friends-once-over to any date that happens along, myself. I currently live with two of my friends that I've had since high school, and every time I'd have a date coming to pick me up, they misteriously would have no plans so that they can meet him as he came in and also pester me when I get back and could dish to them how it went. XDD
