I won't be fulfilling your request, which I've already explained my reasons here, the first time you made this suggestion:

In addition to those reasons I've already stated, I don't have the time or energy to take on these extra work you're requesting. My advice to you is to skip secrets and comment threads that you do not wish to engage with. It's the quickest and easiest solution, and it seems fair that anyone who doesn't wish to engage with a specific type of secret should take responsibility for their FS habits.

Thanks for your work, secret maker!

It's impossible to always make fair and accurate judgments about which are troll secrets and which are sincerely held but inflammatory opinions. Since I think a secret community should allow the latter in most cases, it's even pointless to try.

And the idea of banning every secret posted after a certain random time of day is so dumb it took my breath away - that would shut out a lot of legitimate secrets for no really good reason.

I agree with you on both points. I'm content to let Case decide what's appropriate and what isn't, and individual users decide whether or not they want to engage with a specific secret. It's not my place to decide for them, and it's not a job I want!

As for just deep-sixing all secrets simply because they're posted past an arbitrary deadline... that does not make sense to me at all. It seems so irrational and unnecessarily strictthat it makes me question whether or not the person making the request is trolling. But I don't know, because I'm not a great judge of that, which is why I declined their request to be the judge of those things. Whew.
