... so? Nothing about that means that they inherently have less right to be posted than any other story.

Thought experiment: I'm fairly certain that less people are into into my weird kink fics written about two characters but with my specific fantasies in mind than would be into a well written character/ self insert vanilla smut fest. Does that mean my kink fic has less right to be uploaded than the self insert?

Plus, fandom is basically a living example that humans actually share most of the same fantasies, just with some specifics changed. Hence why Y/N fic are so popular (which are essentially self insert fics by a different name and we all know it).

You are right. Sorry. Wasn't trying to say they aren't allowed to post, meant it was weird to post them. But honestly mostly I'm annoyed that in my fandom right now there are a ton of these fics that are being tagged with ships of canon characters but then it really is a self insert being paired with both.
