I can't really binge shows, I don't have long stretches of time to do that. But I wouldn't mind the shorter seasons if it meant that shows took the time to plot and write out their story arcs well, and if they planned arcs that fit into that 8 to 10 episode run, with decent character development that didn't feel rushed. But most shows still don't do that, and it sucks.
