So, what is a good alternative image hosting site for here? And is there any way to scrape as many of the secrets from imgur as possible? Or will all those secrets soon be gone forever? *like tears in the rain*

I agree, and he would be on my short list for actors who would have played Doctor Who if there'd been an American Doctor Who.

Although I think Falk was in many ways a higher-profile and more serious actor than anyone who played the Doctor in the classic series (he was in a bunch of Cassavetes films! he was in a lauded Off Broadway production of The Iceman Cometh! He was nominated for two Oscars!).

I would say "shitheads" rather than "neckbeards", because some neckbeards can be quite nice.

But I 100% agree about WH and 40K fandom, because they're really interesting fictional worlds but the fandoms... the fandoms.... oh, boy, the fandoms.

I'm a guy, probably a neckbeard given my interests, but hard agree.

40k's fandom is just another level of educating yourself off memes and regurgitating them ad infinitum, losing track of satire and the fact humans are just as terrible as everyone else in the galaxy, obsessing over that singular faction, and see people unironically wishing things would be like that in real life.

One time I watched a 40k Lore video, YouTube then bombarded me with right wing and far right wing channels immediately after. It's the reason I use the "Not Interested" / "Don't Recommend Channel" options indiscriminately, as well as "Channel Blocker" and "uBlock" as indispensable tools.

I like connecting with people I already know that like this canon, but I am not interested in the wider fandom.
