Oh, but I find this very cute! <3
The fanfiction may be a little bit cringe, but in a "I was a teenager with a black/white vision of the world and I'm going to write nasty stuff now ehehe" way. I find this very endearing, actually.

Are you ashamed because you wrote the fanfiction or because your peers read it?

Not OP, but the way I read the secret I think the shame comes from depicting gay people, women who have a lot of sex, and people with substance abuse problems as "evil." Which is justified shame, sure, but a lot of people have baggage they're raised with that it's hard to unpack as a teenager.
