I think they mean him having The Master and some general Timelord guy regenerate from male to female. Which really is not the same, at all. And especially isn't good when the general immediately turns around and makes some bitchy remark about men having big egos.

Yeah, no. The master, the doctor and other timelords/ladies really don't count as transgender people.

So I was correct in assuming moffat did no transgender character. (Maybe some minor inconsequential one?)

I am thinking that it could be interesting if Time erhm person had gender preferences despite having male/female regeneration sycle. For example Doctor using he/him even in the latest body.

Oh, yeah, that's actually how I always envisioned the Doctor: using he/him even when regenerating in what we humans perceive as a female body. It's probably because I alwasy perceived him as heavily influenced my male gender norms.
I've been in this fandom for A WHILE, and that's always been my headcanon.
The Master though, I always thought of them as genderfluid and changing their pronouns accordingly with their gender presentation.
I loved Missy as the Master, but hated that they changed the title from "Master" to "Mistress", though. IDEK for me Master is like the perfect genderneutral title. They should've called her the Master as the offical name and Missy as her preferred casual name. I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL!

I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS A LOT!!! And you're right, we maybe should call them Timepeople!

I am not alone in overthinking DW gender situation.
A lot of people in my parts of the fandom headcanon Doctor nb, this seems wrong to me. He seems A Guy to me. Master on the other hand is absolutely into genderfuckery. Missy thing was annoying in this unique Moffatt style of falling just a bit flat.
I've always thought that Timelord/lady is unnecessary gendered. Especially for a race that is fluid in all sort of ways. Guh

I completely agree with you 100%! The Doctor is A GUY. My dream was for Thirteenth to use male pronouns... sigh.

Missy is a strange subject for me. On one hand, I LOVE HER (I'm totally biased, I have a crush on the actress lol). Fantastic Master in how she tries (and fails lol) to manipulate people. I liked that her character was closer to Ainley!Master than Simm!Master. She had a few great episode and I was kind of liking her "redemption" arc. It was confusing and kind of fucked up. It had all the right elements to be one of the best Masters' story arcs, BUT
DAMN
THE "WOMAN" STUFF. SO FUCKING ANNOYINGGGG. What a waste of endless good genderfuckery material! And a lot of jokes on that were not good at all ;_; maybe they were funny to the general public, but to me, a genderqueer person myself, they were flat as hell.
Moffat did way worse with a lot of other female characters (cough River Song cough), but he could've done so much better.

BTW I love to think about Missy and the Rani meeting each other and debating on who is the better Queen between them. I've wasted a lot of time imagining this scenario. To me it's the Rani.

I am sort of Moffat hater because he always screws or taint an awesome idea. I didn't like Chibnall's run but at least it was just bland and not FRUSTRATING.

Who needs TV shows when I can just read fanfictions? Some are way better than the original canon, too.
For me in this life time harry potter as canon doesn't exist anymore. It's just fanon for me.
I'm never ever going to spend a single second of my life following JKR and her works. Not only because she is a TERF, but most of all because nowadays she is boring as hell as a story teller and has exhausted all the interesting idea she once had.
I've got better canon to explore!

BTW for me trans harry already exist and she is very happy with her lovely wife, thank you very much.
