Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing?

I'll be relaxing and crocheting. I have to watch my niece and nephew all next week while my sister is on a business trip (from Sunday to Sunday). So I need all the relaxation I can get before that. Going to be hellish!

I might also try and cook something, we'll see how much energy I have, but I've been really in the mood for a lasagna or a baked ziti or something of that nature.

Working on cosplay! Not sure if there will be more sewing, or just plugging away at making chainmail.

Also got to Stormblood on my lunch break today, so there will surely be some more FFXIV (if I can stop working on cosplay from it long enough).

Yep, Final Fantasy XIV. I have become extremely fond of Haurchefant (and to anyone who may read this and go "ohohoho", yes, as noted, I finished Heavensward ;)), and I am told that most of the fandom is also very fond of him... and yet he's rarely cosplayed, possibly because you only ever really see him in full armor. Meanwhile I've had an interest in making chainmail since I was about 15, but never had excuse/money for it before. Haurchefant is a worthy excuse. :D

Home decorating! I have fab new blinds that are so perfect, they could be custom. I majorly splurged on fabric so will be making curtains and coordinating valances. I may make one extra valance to drape over the back of my armchair, I’ll see how it looks first using the window ones.
Oh and I have (cheap mass produced because I’m poor) frames for a bunch of pictures and a couple art prints. So all of that is getting hung and I’m just stoked about it.

I'm gonna head out to the farmer's market tomorrow and see what goodies I can pick up. And then probably the library.

Sunday mom and I are going out for lunch. Probably Red Lobster. Other than that, resting and taking it easy. Feeling the urge to watch Jupiter Ascending for some reason. And maybe Pompeii? Not sure.

I finally started the second season of Shadow and Bones, so I'm going watch it! I loved Six of Crows so I'm really excited about Kaz and the crows! Yay! Wylan is cute!

Tomorrow I'm also helping my sister pack because she is moving to her first home! She's moving to the mountain and that's amazing.
I have a complicated relationship with her, but I'm truly happy for her and her son and I hope she'll love her new home.

-prep car and start packing for a race being held out of state on Tuesday

A one mile running race; one mile races are harder to find than I'd like, and I much prefer a one mile over a 5k.

Trying to lower my blood sugar and fighting a silent UTI. Watched the latest episode of Yellowjackets and will be watching Barry tomorrow.
