unfortunately it's very hard to put a bullet in the heads of oppressors because they are often extremely paranoid plus surrounded by an army of secret service at all times.

putin is more likely to take care of himself by falling down the stairs or ODing on meds (god willing).

It is rare for the populace to do it directly, but not unprecedented; especially in Russia. What you do is make the peasants lives so uncomfortable or impoverished that it starts reverberating back up the chain, they make the slightly richer peasants lives too uncomfortable, which makes the bourgeoisie uncomfortable, who make the lords uncomfortable and impoverished, and then those real movers and shakers ask the the king to come and have a conversation right next to this handy window... But it all starts with making the peasants lives hell enough, because if the peasants are happy then the king can do as he pleases. Sorry, modern peasantry, but you gotta suffer and suffer very loudly, to start the whole thing off. And, if you are upset by this, consider it makes Ukrainian fans feel to have Russian fans complaining that they feel unwelcome in fandom spaces while Ukraine real spaces are being ground into pebbles.
