the reason that people support Palestine and Palestinians is because of the situation they have been placed in by the actions of the state of Israel

It's fine to support any state/nation that experiences injustice in the eyes of the supporter.

But Pride should be about the rights of queer/LGBT peope, first and foremost. This is what Pride is about. Flags of homophobic states - oppressed or not - contradict the idea of queer empowerment. Unless the idea is about being queer AND Palestinian, but then it should be explicitly stated so.
