As shocking as it was the first time I saw it, I can forgive that one since Ford made no secret of his animosity towards Star Wars.

... The Last Jedi kill-them-all thing, though? Yeah. Yeah, I cannot think what kind of reasonable expanded universe writer would think it's a good idea to kill so many classic characters unceremoniously. Unless the head writer is a narcissist.

literally before I even opened this post I said to myself "I am 100% confident that someone is going to find a way to say that Han Solo getting killed in TFA was actually fine (even though it's clearly an example of what the original secret was talking about) and TLJ was the one movie that ruined everything"
