I always wanted to write to my childhood crushes, like Scotty (Star Trek), the Bay City Rollers, Sean Cassidy.... I never did, but the desire was there, to just reach out and say 'omg, you rock!!'

I have said basically that on Twitter to a couple of actors I really enjoyed, and it was nice to have my comment 'liked', but that's as much interaction as I care to have.
