I live in a part of Sweden that has accepted an insane amount of immigrants over the last 20 years or so (Malmö for those who wonder).

My underaged sisters who are still in school receive abuse DAILY from mainly arabs and africans. They tell them that Swedes are inbred retards, The Big Satan, racist, all Swedish women and girls are whores who deserves rape, all swedish men are pedos etc etc. One arab boy wanted to have my sis as a girl friend, she refused, and after that she received daily death threats from the guy and his relatives for about 3 weeks. Now they just call her a filthy swedish whore whenever they see her. Having foreign looking guys shouting after me out on the streets that I'm a filthy whore is pretty common. Two friends of mine have colored their blond hair black just so they can escape the constant harassment and racism from arab guys. The police had an investigation that showed that about 90% of all robbers in Malmö ("Hey hand over the mobile phone bitch"-kind of robbery, don't know the correct english word) were immigrants, and about 90% of the victims were swedes. Foreign criminals routinely pick swedes as their victims, but for some reason this is not racism. In some parts of Malmö the ambulances and firefighters need police escort and protection because the inhabitants attack anyone who looks swedish.

The problem is that whenever you try and discuss the awful behavior among the immigrants you quickly get told that you are RACIST! It's MY fault if they rape, rob, start riots, call me and my sister whores, because I'M A RACIST. My RACISM is FORCING THEM DO BAD THINGS!! White people never experience racism, 100% of all racist are white.

So what I am trying to say is; Shut you god damn mouth you god damn ignorant cunt! White people experience WAY more racism than people think.

Yeah, as I said, racism is racism no matter the causes. Best way to move forward is not to say that any particular race is worse or better, or less or more deserving, than any other and try to get to the base of it and sort out whatever the core problems might be causing it all, I'd say.

Replying to this several days later, but I just want to say that the immigrants in Malmö (a city that's a stronghold for right-wing, xenophobic, nationalistic elements) have been victims of institutionalised racism for years. Not that it excuses the behaviour described, but there are reasons for the situation.

Also, I live in another part of Sweden (Stockholm, which to the rest of the country means "damn snob", despite me living in what's considered a "bad" neighbourhood) but I still see the Malmö situation on the news several times every week. There are also programmes about immigrant families living in rotting, cockroach-infested apartments (cockroaches! I've never even seen any in Sweden!) that the landlords refuse to do anything about, huge unemployment numbers, and the failure of our society to make them feel a part of this country.

So yes, individuals are certainly being racist against Swedes, but they're victims of institutionalised racism in turn (and probably individual as well).

That really sucks. It also sounds a lot like my neighborhood. I'm the only white guy in my apartment building, and I get harassed on a daily basis. People are always trying to fight with me and do shit to try to get me to move out.

Guess what, white people can be poor too! I can't afford to live anywhere else, so I'm stuck in the ghetto with everyone else.

Oh my, people and their younger siblings are feeling unsafe after being racially targeted for things that they didn't do. How dare they feel angry! They should grin and bear it because whites, at least, have the privilege to be heard when they're racist!

No one has to grin and bear it when they're being called a whore or experiencing harassment, but they do need to realise that a decade and more of shutting non-Swedes away from rest of society and actually trying to make it ILLEGAL for non-Swedes to live in certain cities, is going to have a fucking effect. Maybe people who aren't familiar with the rethorics of the Swedish Democrats (the nazi party revamped) are going to pet this girl on the head and go "Oh, poor you, I can't believe those nasty muslims are targetting you without the slightest hint of prior provocation!", but I know enough of the situation down there to know that people on both sides are reaping what they sow.

If you can't see that there's a difference between some random guy(s) calling you a whore on the street, and people mounting huge political campaigns to close parts of the country to non-whites, then there's not much else I can say, is there?

I'm not saying that this isn't a natural consequence of the way immigrants have been treated in the past, that the people who are behaving this way should be completely vilified without looking at the whole picture.

On the other hand, hate begets hate, and random guys calling people whores on the street because said people happen to be part of a group of which some exhibit racist behavior might not be on same scale as racist politics, but it should also not be more or less acceptable in any sense. That's my problem with the original statement -- people have the right to be indignant when they're mistreated without personal provocation on their own part, no matter what people they're somehow related to might have done.

And this all goes back to the original secret, which was highly provocative and really not conducive to the kind of discussion we're trying to build on the Swedish thread OP's response.

Being called a whore = bad.

Bringing up random statistics in an attempt to declare "arabs" criminals who prey almost exclusively on whites = fail.

Here's an idea, the immigrants could immigrate back to wherever the fuckt they came from.
