Only rarely does anything in this world make me glad to have the parents I have, but: they may have tried to send me to therapy (and at one point even threatened an exorcism) for the tiny parts I made the mistake of showing them of my religion, my sexuality, and my lovestyle; but they are both fans, if fairly inactive ones by today's standards, and my father is a gamer, and neither of them have ever given me any crap about my gaming and fannish activities.
