Agreed. I didn't like Harmony, but Spike treated her like crap. Now, when Buffy insulted Harmony, I was amused. But when Spike walked all over her, I just felt bad for her.

This. I think the difference is Buffy insulted her without ever leading her on (lolol Buffy/Harmony I think I just died in my head). With Spike you never knew when he was going to sweet talk her or bitch slap her, making it more painful.

I SO AGREE. The way he always treated Harmony is just yet ANOTHER reason I hate Spuffy. Because Spike is an utter asshat 90% of the time, and the other 10% doesn't make him a good person.

Really? This kind of surprises me. I mean I never cared much either way, but they're both soulless vampires. Harmony was a bitch and Spike was a bastard... at least Spike had a tiny ounce of integrity, Harmony not so much. After she sold out Cordelia on Angel I thought that yes, she deserved it.

Thirded. I kinda thought that was half the point of vampire!Harmony - she seems like a harmless ditz but everything she does is ultimately hollow and selfish due to her lack of a soul.

The same point was made of Spike pre-soul. :/
