Ben just sits wrong with me. All the manipulating, lying, backstabbing(not to mention he was the indirect cause of his adopted daughters death)just being a douche in general...I know a lot of people like the Manipulative Bastard type, but for me, they just rub me the wrong way. Especially Ben.

Even if he has shown regret as of the latest episode that I've seen("Dead is Dead"), I still can't find it in me to forgive him for all that he's done to the rest of the main characters, even if he had his reasons for doing it.

At least it seems like he's finally gonna been the one bossed around. Guess I'll have to wait and see how it unfolds...

Oh, Benj. I would be so dead by now if I knew Benji in real life. All he has to do is show up all beaten up and/or turn on the waterworks and I feel all sorry for the little fella. And then he gets all throttley/stabby and I remember about the whole murdering, lying megalomaniac thing.

It might just be because I'm convinced all he needs is a good shagging to make him chill the fuck out. He is one frustrated sonnuvagun.

I thought he became much more sympathetic in the last series (besides that whole Murdering People thing) so I'm hoping for a bit of a redemption for our Benry before the end. I think he's due one, and I think he's shown himself to be capable of the remorse and empathy that he'd need to achieve one.

In a lot of ways he reminds me of Romano from ER - brilliant, amazing actor, horrible character, but every moment he's onscreen is gold.
