So, is it supposed to be wrong to look at people as people, and not as whatever race? Or is it more to do with a wish not to be assimilated into white, Western culture, and retain some of their own?
I understand the latter idea, but at the same time I don't see how it's incorrect to treat and look at everyone as being pretty much the same in terms of value or whatever, regardless of race. :/

if you miss the point or don't understand, it's up to you to 'figure it out' and not up to a PoC to help you see where your thinking/white privilege is flawed or showing and are a racist for even trying to negotiate the waters in making sense or even adjust your own thinking.
in the final analysis? you're a racist for simply being white.
