I was going through my Disney mp3 collection yesterday and for some reason Tangled's When Will My Life Begin? has been stuck in my head ever since then.

Oraanu Pi by E.S. Posthumus was the last song I listened to. Have the tune stuck in my head right now. Quite pleasant.

The last media thing that made me cry a little was a report that the Mariners' Church in Detroit paid tribute to Lightfoot a few days after he died.

They rang the bells 30 times.

The Ballad of Sweeney Todd.

The first track of the new Broadway recording of Sweeney Todd has been released on YouTube and I can't wait for the full album.

...I just used this icon above so now I have Vienna Teng's "Stray Italian Greyhound" in my head automatically. XD

Before that, I was playing FFXIV a bit and have spent much of the evening wandering around the Kugane area so I have a few different variations of that stuck in my head at any given time.

She has so many good songs that I associate with stuff I love, this one wasn't particularly standing out to me... until it happened to come on while I was being all fannish with someone about this ship and I went "............ohhhhhh boy" and started laughing my head off. It's spot on, except that the dog in this case is a golden retriever. XD

I dunno what it is about her music - she (and a handful of other artists) seem to hit the fannish part of my id repeatedly and not only remind me of certain characters/ships, but inspire lengthy plotty fics that I can't NOT write. :D

Last full song I listened to was Badlands by Bruce Springsteen. Currently listening to Long Game by Hana Eid. Both great songs. Love em.
