Oh boy, what I wouldn’t give to go back to those halcyon days of my youth. Days like the time I got stranded in the middle of nowhere after getting lost, no money for a pay phone, having to walk miles to find someplace that might have something, and then having to go to a shady dive just to use their phone to call my parents to come get me back to civilization.

Yeah, I like a few select Gins but it's definitely overhyped.

Cell phones, for me, are like 70% "living in the future is awesome," and like 30% "fuck this low-key-dystopian piece of shit," with not much in between.

Agree about Titanic. I don't hate it, but IMO it was the epitome of overrated. Then again, I feel the same way about Avatar, but even more-so. James Cameron is like a divining rob for massive blockbusters that are extremely overrated but will nonetheless make billions.

Gin was the first thing I ever got drunk on, and fifteen years later, that first time remains the only time I've ever gotten drunk on gin.
