About four years ago, I saw someone argue that Dungeon Meshi would and should end with Falin dying permanently and everyone else accepting her death and moving on.

I hated this so much, I stopped reading Dungeon Meshi in case that turned out to be the actual ending.

(I hear it’s ending now. Was it that bad?)

not to spoil too much but they currently still intend to resurect her and I'm like 99% sure that, after all that they've been through, they will succeed.
that theory is funny though lmao. I always had an understanding that, no matter how dark the plot gets at times, DM is still mostly a comedy manga, and those tend to end well.

I hope you're right! Usually I hate resurrection stories but this one? this one I want to work out. (Couldn't articulate why the context is so special and where's the difference but.)
