Okay I've never heard of this book and just looked it up and still have no idea what your secret means, but I am definitely intrigued. I enjoy YA/Middle grade fantasy as a nice quick read, so I think I'll be checking this out soon. Thanks OP!

oh my GOD I had this and the sequel when I was a kid and I've been jonesing to reread them to see how much of what I remember actually holds up.

I remember the world-building being totally bonkers but in a way that was super interesting and fun to read about.
